The Wife Before- Shanora Williams
I found this book on one of my bookcases. I honestly don't even remember buying it, it may have actually come from one of those free libraries in the park. Anyway, it sounded interesting and it definitely was. It's a psychological thriller, which are my favorite!
Samira is a young woman who has gone through multiple jobs and relies on her brother for a lot of help. At one of her gigs, she meets a pro golfer, Roland. He ends up being a pretty wealthy and famous golfer. She has no idea who he is when they meet. They end up falling in love and getting married. Roland however has a dark past that he kept from Samira. She does find out before their marriage that Roland's previous wife is dead and at one point Roland was suspect in her murder. Her death was ultimately ruled a suicide, but once Samira moves in with Roland she finds Melanie's old journals. After reading them, Samira is not so sure Melanie's death was a suicide and she's not certain her husband is completely innocent.
If you are looking for a fast read with a lot of twists, this one's for you! I read this one in two nights, I just had to know what happened!
